About
Liz Bristle has an undergraduate degree in Visual and Performing Arts with a concentration in Studio Practice from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. A military veteran, military spouse, and mother, Liz brings a layered and deeply lived perspective to her creative work.
Her practice explores themes of trauma, grief, motherhood, and magic. Through ink and storytelling, she draws on myth, fantasy, and the liminal space between dreams and reality—where the dark and tender aspects of life often meet. These threads are interwoven across her visual and written work, each medium offering a different lens through which she explores transformation, resilience, and wonder.
In addition to her creative work, Liz has a professional background in supply chain logistics. She brings a strong understanding of structure, systems, and movement to her artistic process—balancing the analytical with the imaginative. She believes creativity doesn’t exist outside of life’s demands—it’s threaded through them. Her work lives at the intersection of intuition and discipline, the practical and the poetic.
